Why Knowing Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Is Important?
Knowledge of the Prophetic Biography (Seerah) is necessary for every Muslim and sharing it with everyone is a responsibility. This is an obligation that Allah has put upon us as Muslims. Studying the Seerah is the number one way to increase our love for the Prophet. There are no other ways as effective and as powerful to increase our love for the Prophet than by studying his life and times. If you truly love him, you will study him. Because, a sign of loving someone is to want to know more about that person. Studying the Seerah is a sign of love and through studying the Seerah we increase our love. It is a circle – the more we study the more we love, the more we love, the more we study.
Course Objective
This 10-Day course will trace the life history of our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from the days before the advent of Islam; known as the time of ignorance. The course follows his birth and upbringing through to his receiving of prophethood, the spread of Islam in Makkah and the immigration to Madinah including his many struggles and battles. The life of the Prophet is both inspirational and emotive and is yet full of lessons and anecdotes that continue to unravel themselves to us to this day. Studying the life of the Prophet is an absolute must for everyone!

- The characteristics of Prophet Muhammad and his personalities
- The call to Prophethood
- The Fudool pact and early signs of his impending prophethood
- His seclusion in Hiraa cave
- First meeting with Jibrail A.S
- His night journey to Jerusalem and his ascension into the heavens
- The first pledge of allegiance at al-‘Aqabah
- The Hijrah from Makkah to Madeenah and the reasons
- The farewell pilgrimage
- Prophet Muhammad’s last Khutbah
- The death of Prophet Muhammad
- Learn the daily Sunnah and teachings of Prophet Muhammad

- Class commencement date: 29th November 2020 (Open to Ladies/Muslimah Only)
- 10 sessions (2hrs session, Once a week) – 9am - 11am (Every Sunday)
