“The best amongst you is he who learns the Qur’an and teaches it.” (Bukhari, Fadhail ul Qur’an, 21)
In another hadith;
“The one who reads a single letter from the Book of Allah will be rewarded with one good deed. (Know that) A good deed is multiplied ten times over. I do not say Alif Laam Meem is one letter. Verily, Alif is one letter, Laam is one letter, Meem is one letter.” (At-Tirmidhi)
Above are two of many well-known hadiths that mention about learning the Holy Quran. Also known as the Divine Book, Allah Almighty has specified a complete code of conduct for the Muslims, to adopt in their daily lives besides providing basic information about the religion.
